The game starts with a kick off from the centre spot of the
field. At that moment all 22 (11 per side) players must be on the
their own sides of the field and no opponent may come into the centre
circle until the ball is played.. The kick off must be taken forward and
the player taking it must not touch the ball again before it has been
touched by another player.
l
Except for the throw in, after the ball has gone out of the
field goalie is the only player who can play the ball with his or her
hands and arms but only inside his or her own penalty area.
l
A player must use his or her feet, head, thigh or chest to stop, control,
or pass the ball, move with it or score.
l
A goal is scored when the whole of the ball has crossed the goal line.
l
In case the ball goes off the field there are options how
the game continues. A throw in is taken when the ball goes off the
field from the side and the team who did not touch the ball last
gives the throw in. In case the ball goes out off the field from the end
off the field there are two options. If the defensive side touches
the ball last the offensive side gets to take a corner kick from the
corner of the field. If the offensive side touches the ball last the play
continues with goal kick by the defensive side.
