There
are seven players per team and two opposing teams. The aim is to
score in the opposing team’s ring.
Players are restricted to specific parts of the
court.Players
in a defending position will try and defend the opponents attacking
moves to prevent them scoring any goals.
Players
in an attacking position will try to score goals.
The ball may be passed between players but players are not permitted
to run with the ball or bounce it.
When passing the ball the
players may either throw it or bounce it to
another player. But they can
not hold onto the ball for more than 3 seconds.Unlike Basketball, only two players from each team are permitted to
score.
A goal is scored when the ball
is sent through the ring by a goal shooter, The shooting player must be inside
the shooting circle for the goal to count.
